An Historic
Hotel in a unique and romantic setting, actually built into and over the
14th Century stone quay of this famous fishing village. All the bedrooms
have views directly over the sea or harbour - no.5 has both! Unlike the
New Inn, one can park one's car immediately beside the hotel. Fall asleep
to the sound of the sea - waves breaking on a shingle shore. |

In Clovelly
main street, a cobbled and stepped lane winding down past many pretty
cottages, is The New Inn, so called because it is merely 250 years old
whereas most of Clovelly is much older. The bedrooms in the Inn itself
are of exceptional quality. |

17th Century
corn exchange now a Tavern and Hotel in one of the most spectacular positions
on North Devon's long and varied coastline. Here is a stunning landscape
of rocks and cliffs, sea caves and rockpools, seals, seabirds and the
constant wash o' the waves. If there's four to seven of you, we recommend
that you book the cottage annexe (1 family, 1double, 1 twin, sitting room,
bathroom, Atlantic views). Family atmosphere. Shore angling. |
